The distillery say:
A tangy twist on the original award winning Newcastle Gin, devised and created at our commercial distillery within the ancient Newcastle City walls at Bealim House, Gallowgate to create a classic full strength gin with great flavours of Rhubarb and Ginger.
It takes over seventy-two hours for us to lovingly create our light floral gin using a combination of age-old distilling techniques, including maceration and vapour infusion through a 450L traditional copper pot still with our vapour botanical basket. We even use Newcastle City water to take down the final "new make spirit" from 78% to a strong but hearty 40%.
